Food From The Heart
This is a sack lunch assistance ministry committed to providing free meals for children at-risk of going hungry during weekends and extended school holidays. We currently partner with Red Duke Elementary and Don Jeter Elementary.

How Can I Help?
There are so many ways that you can get involved with this awesome ministry. The following are some of the ways you can get involved:
- Packing lunches, 75 lunches are needed a week and even more on holidays.
- Delivering lunches to Red Duke Elementary and Don Jeter Elementary.
- Decorating lunch bags.
- Praying over the lunches and the families that will receive them.
- Donating food (check out the food donation list)
- Give financially to the "Food From the Heart" designated fund.
Food Donation List
We have a specific set of requirements for the food that is distributed to our children. All items MUST be in single-serve packages – we cannot re-package into smaller portion sizes, so they must be in ready-to-serve packaging.
Examples include:
- Single-Serving Pasta/Ravioli (Sold in packages of 4-6, such as Easy Mac or Chef Boyardee Microwavable Ravioli)
- Single-Serving Breakfast Cereal (individually wrapped servings, typically in a cup or mini-box)
- Bottled Water
- Juice Boxes or Pouches
- Fruit Cups/Apple Sauce Cups
- Fruit Snacks
- Single-Serving Dry Snacks (Such as pretzels, cheese crackers, animal crackers)
